Casa de Hogar
Each week Ammac volunteers work with different Casas de Hogar in the area. Some of the services provided include food donation, classes, tutoring, and entertainment.
A Casa de Hogar is kind of like a group foster home. Children are placed here for a variety of reasons. Some of the families can no longer support their children economically or socially and choose to place them in these group homes. Others have been removed from dangerous situations by social services and look to these homes as a refuge.
