Compassion for All

From the beginning of AMMAC’s activities, the priority has been to help and offer benefits to families living in extreme poverty or in vulnerable conditions. Ongoing activities include bringing food, clothing and other supplies to the communities surrounding Monterrey and the metropolitan area. Within the program, winter clothing and blankets were donated and distributed by Televisa Monterrey, a local news station in Monterrey.

Every Monday through Friday volunteers go to the wholesale market located in the San Nicolas municipality and collect donations from various venders. In the afternoons, that food is taken and distributed to communities around Monterrey on a rotated schedule. Each month, AMMAC collects and redistributes on average 160 tons of food.
