Did you know that in Mexico an average of 35 to 45 million people live on only 20 pesos per day (1.60 USD / 1.12 Euro)?

In the state of Nuevo Leon alone, the are over 20,000 families living in this type of poverty. That's about 90,000 people or 90% of the Aztec Stadium.

AMMAC (Alianza de Ministerios de Misericordia A.C). was founded in Monterrey, Mexico during 1999 to combat these prevailing problems. AMMAC has always strived to provide help and offer benefits to families living in extreme poverty or in vulnerable conditions. Our ongoing activities include providing ultra-low cost food and clothing to the communities surrounding Monterrey and the metropolitan area.

AMMAC depends heavily on volunteers that donate their time and skills to help the world around them. We have received volunteers from Mexico and nine other countries (Japan, China, Norway, Germany, Australia, England, France, the United States and Canada)!
